The NI.11.12 reducer is intended for equipping horizontal manure collecting conveyors of the TSN type of all types (TSN.2B, TSN.3B, TSN.160). Also a gearbox NO.11.12 found its application in industrial concrete mixers and equipment for oil refineries. People call it "square".
Variations depend on the inclination of the teeth of the first rapid stage and the length output shaft of the gearbox. The extended version of the shaft is used for horizontal conveyor type TSN.160A with the upper position of the scrapers.

Initially, the НI.11.12 drive was created and mass-produced by Kyiv plant named after Lepse. An analogue of this gearbox NI.11.12E was also produced in Latvia at the factory Elgavselmash.
